1. Introduction

At Volmlix, we take pride in the quality of our gift wrapping services and handmade products. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Return Policy explains our guidelines for returns, exchanges, and refunds for products and services purchased from Volmlix.

2. Gift Wrapping Services

Our gift wrapping services are provided as a bespoke service tailored to your specific requirements. Once we have completed the wrapping of your item, we consider the service fulfilled. Due to the personalised nature of gift wrapping, we do not offer returns or refunds on completed gift wrapping services.

However, if you are not satisfied with the quality of our work, please contact us within 24 hours of collection or delivery, and we will do our best to address your concerns. In cases where the wrapping does not meet the agreed specifications, we may offer to re-wrap the item at no additional charge.

3. Handmade Products

3.1 Custom and Bespoke Items

Handmade items that have been customised or created specifically for you (such as personalised gift boxes, custom memory cards, or bespoke decorative pieces) are made to order and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are defective or do not conform to the agreed specifications.

If you receive a custom item that is defective or does not match what was agreed upon, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. We will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include remaking the item or providing a full refund.

3.2 Standard Handmade Products

For non-customised handmade products purchased from our collection, you may return the item within 14 days of receipt if you are not satisfied, provided the item is in its original condition, unused, and with all original packaging and tags intact.

To initiate a return, please contact us at info@volmlix.world or call +353 1 764 9821 to obtain a return authorisation. Items returned without prior authorisation may not be accepted.

4. Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a product that is defective or damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately upon receipt. We will arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you. To expedite the process, please provide:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the defect or damage
  • Photographs of the defective or damaged item

We take great care in creating and packaging our products, and we will work with you to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.

5. How to Return an Item

To return an eligible item, please follow these steps:

  • Contact us at info@volmlix.world or +353 1 764 9821 within the applicable return period to request a return authorisation.
  • Provide your order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
  • Once your return is authorised, we will provide you with instructions on how to return the item.
  • Package the item securely in its original packaging, if possible, to prevent damage during return shipping.
  • Ship the item to the address provided. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we made an error.

Items can also be returned in person to our studio at 128 Grafton Street, Dublin, during our opening hours.

6. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be automatically applied to your original method of payment within 7 to 10 business days.

Please note that depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account.

If your return is not approved, we will contact you to explain the reason and arrange for the item to be returned to you if you wish.

7. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like to exchange an item, please return the original item following our return process, and place a new order for the item you prefer.

8. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Completed gift wrapping services
  • Custom or personalised handmade products that have been created to your specifications
  • Items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Items returned more than 14 days after delivery (for standard handmade products)

9. Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. For standard items that have not yet been processed or shipped, we will provide a full refund. For custom or made-to-order items, cancellations may not be possible once work has commenced. In such cases, any deposit paid is non-refundable.

10. Workshops and Events

For workshops and event services, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled workshop or event may be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the booking cost. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule workshops due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case a full refund or alternative date will be offered.
